The Nerdaxe Gaia is a compact SHA-256 ASIC miner built around Bitmain’s new BM1373 ASIC chip. Delivering approximately 2.4 TH/s while consuming around 25–26W, Gaia represents a major step forward from the previous BM1370-based Nerdaxe Gamma.
The BM1370 Gamma delivers around 1.2 TH/s at approximately 17W, or roughly 17 J/TH. Gaia increases performance to around 2.4 TH/s while improving efficiency to approximately 11 J/TH. In practical terms, you get roughly double the hashrate with substantially better performance per watt.

At the heart of the Nerdaxe Gaia is the Bitmain BM1373, a newer generation SHA-256 mining ASIC designed to deliver significantly more hashing performance from a single-chip desktop miner.

The biggest upgrade is not simply the higher hashrate. The BM1373 also delivers a meaningful improvement in energy efficiency.
Compared with the BM1370 generation, Gaia produces roughly twice the hashing power while requiring far less than twice the electrical power. This reduces the amount of energy required for every terahash produced and makes the miner better suited to continuous desktop operation.

🔌 Upgraded 12V power system
The increased performance of the BM1373 platform moves Gaia to a 12V DC power system. The miner requires a 12V / 5A supply using a 2.1/5.5 mm barrel connector.
This differs from the previous BM1370 Nerdaxe Gamma, which operated from a 5V supply.

🤔 Gaia or Gamma?
If you already like the compact Nerdaxe format but want significantly more mining performance, Gaia is the natural upgrade.
The BM1370-based Gamma remains a capable low-power miner at approximately 1.2 TH/s, but the BM1373-powered Gaia moves the platform to approximately 2.4 TH/s while improving efficiency from around 17 J/TH to around 11 J/TH.
