Warranty Policy

Last updated 26 March 2026

This Warranty Policy is part of our Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and should be read alongside our main Terms: Terms & Conditions.

Please review this policy before purchasing from us. This policy applies to consumer purchases made through our website.

Do You Offer a Warranty?

Yes. We offer a limited commercial warranty on selected products sold through our website.

This commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. It does not limit or replace any mandatory rights you may have in relation to defects in goods.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

Our commercial warranty covers defects in materials, manufacturing, or workmanship that appear during the stated warranty period under normal intended use of the product and in accordance with the product’s stated specifications, instructions, and operating conditions.

Unless otherwise explicitly stated in this policy or in other warranty information provided with the product, the commercial warranty period is 90 days from the date of delivery.

Product Categories and Warranty Scope

Warranty handling may differ depending on whether the product is open-source mining hardware, closed-source manufacturer-controlled hardware, or accessories and other components.

Closed-Source Mining Hardware (e.g. Canaan / Avalon products)

Warranty Item Details
Warranty Provider Original manufacturer
Warranty Period 12 months from the manufacturer
Coverage Type Manufacturer warranty
Covered Manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship under normal use and within stated specifications, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms
Not Covered Anything excluded by the manufacturer’s warranty, including where applicable damage caused by misuse (including but not limited to drops, impacts, liquid exposure, or improper handling), modification, overclocking, operation outside stated specifications, or unauthorized repair.
Warranty Handling Claims, repairs, and replacements are handled directly by the manufacturer unless explicitly stated otherwise. We may assist with basic troubleshooting and order-related questions, but we do not perform manufacturer warranty repairs or replacements ourselves.

Open-Source Mining Hardware (e.g. Bitaxe, Nerdaxe, and similar devices)

Warranty Period 90 days from the date of delivery
Coverage Type Limited commercial warranty

Not Covered Damage caused by overclocking, undervolting, overvolting, altered frequency settings, modified firmware, non-approved power delivery or cooling, tampering, board-level modification, soldering, misuse (including but not limited to drops, impacts, liquid exposure, or improper handling), or operation outside stated specifications.
Warranty Handling Claims are handled directly through our support process as described in this policy.

Accessories, Components, and Other Products Unless Stated Otherwise

Product Type Warranty Period Covered Not Covered
Power Supplies, Fans, Displays, Controllers, Accessories, 3D-Printed Parts, Cosmetic Accessories, and other products unless explicitly stated otherwise 90 days from the date of delivery Manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship under normal intended use Damage caused by misuse (including but not limited to drops, impacts, liquid exposure, or improper handling), incompatible hardware, unauthorized modification, normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes from heat or environmental exposure, or use outside stated specifications.

Where a product is stated to carry a different warranty period or to be covered directly by a manufacturer warranty, that stated term will apply instead of the default 90-day commercial warranty described above.

Overclocking and Operation Outside Specifications

Overclocking voids the commercial warranty for any resulting faults or damage.

Any damage, instability, reduced lifespan, degraded performance, or failure caused by overclocking, undervolting, overvolting, altered frequency settings, modified firmware, non-approved power delivery, non-approved cooling modifications, removal or replacement of thermal components, board-level modification, soldering, tampering, or other operation outside the product’s stated specifications is not covered by this commercial warranty.

Where a product has been used outside its stated specifications, we reserve the right to deny warranty coverage for faults or damage resulting from that use.

What Else Is Not Covered?

This commercial warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by:

  • accidental damage or external causes, including but not limited to drops, impacts, liquid exposure, moisture, corrosion, fire, or other environmental factors occurring after delivery;
  • misuse, neglect, improper handling, abnormal use, or use contrary to the product’s intended purpose or stated specifications;
  • failure to follow installation, setup, operating, maintenance, or safety instructions;
  • unauthorized repair, disassembly, tampering, modification, or attempted modification;
  • use with incompatible or unsuitable power supplies, cables, adapters, accessories, software, or components;
  • consumable parts, normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear, or minor visual imperfections that do not affect functionality; or
  • issues clearly disclosed before purchase.

How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?

If you believe your product is covered by this commercial warranty, please contact us using our online form: Contact Us.

To help us assess the issue, please include:

  • your order number;
  • the product name;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photos or video showing the issue, where possible; and
  • details of any troubleshooting steps already taken.

We may ask for additional information, test results, diagnostic screenshots, or return of the product for inspection before deciding the claim.

Inspection and Assessment

Where necessary, we may inspect the returned product to determine the cause of the reported fault.

Visible signs of impact, liquid exposure, corrosion, tampering, soldering, board-level modification, or operation outside stated specifications may be used as evidence when assessing whether a claim is excluded from this commercial warranty.

If our inspection shows that the fault is covered by this commercial warranty or by applicable consumer law, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

If our inspection shows that the issue was caused by overclocking, operation outside stated specifications, unauthorized modification, misuse, accidental damage, liquid exposure, impact damage, or another excluded cause, the claim may be rejected under this commercial warranty.

For products covered by a manufacturer warranty, the manufacturer’s inspection, approval, and warranty procedures may also apply.

What Happens If the Claim Is Approved?

If a valid claim is confirmed, we may offer repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund as appropriate under the circumstances and applicable law.

If the issue is covered by this commercial warranty, the warranty remedy will be provided at no cost to you.

For products covered directly by a manufacturer warranty, the available remedy may be determined by the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms and procedures.

Return Shipping and Non-Covered Claims

If we request return of a product for inspection and the issue is confirmed as covered, you will not be charged for warranty handling.

If inspection shows that the issue is not covered by this commercial warranty and not covered by mandatory consumer law, we may inform you of any applicable return shipping or service costs before proceeding.

For products covered directly by a manufacturer warranty, return instructions, shipping arrangements, and handling may be subject to the manufacturer’s process.

Your Statutory Rights

Under applicable consumer law, you may have the right to complain about original defects in goods even if no commercial warranty is offered or even if the commercial warranty has expired.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits any mandatory rights you may have under consumer protection law.

If Warranty Terms and Marketing Differ

If we advertise warranty terms that are more favorable than the terms stated in this policy or other warranty documentation, the more favorable terms will apply unless corrected before purchase in an equivalent or comparable way.
