Returns & Refund Policy
RETURNS, WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
Last updated 7 August 2026
This policy applies to purchases made from Yggdrill AB.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers purchasing online have fourteen (14) days to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day after the customer, or a person designated by the customer other than the carrier, receives the product.
For orders containing several products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the final product is received.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify Yggdrill within the withdrawal period by:
- selecting “Start a return” for the relevant order through the customer account page; or
- emailing returns@yggdrill.com.
The return request should include the customer’s name, order number, and the products concerned.
Customers should contact Yggdrill before sending a product back so that the correct return address and return instructions can be provided. Starting a return through the account page will submit the request to Yggdrill, but the product should not be shipped until return instructions have been provided.
After notifying Yggdrill, the customer must return the product without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after the notification was submitted.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
Products must not be returned directly to the manufacturer, supplier, or another address unless instructed by Yggdrill.
Submitting a return request does not mean that the product has been approved for a full refund. The returned product will be assessed after it is received.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
When a customer exercises the right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.
For returns from Sweden, Yggdrill may provide a prepaid return label. If the label is used, a return shipping cost of 85 SEK will be deducted from the refund.
For international returns, the cost varies depending on the country, carrier, parcel size, and parcel weight. Where Yggdrill provides a prepaid international return label, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. The amount will be communicated before the label is issued.
Customers may also arrange and pay for their own return shipping.
A tracked and adequately insured shipping method is recommended.
If the return concerns an incorrect product, transport damage, or an accepted defect claim, Yggdrill will provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping as appropriate.
RETURN PACKAGING AND TRANSPORT
The customer is responsible for packaging the product securely and in a manner suitable for its nature, weight, and value.
Original protective packaging should be used where reasonably possible.
Heavy or sensitive electronic equipment must be secured so that it cannot move or be damaged during transport.
The customer may be responsible for loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging or improper handling during the return shipment.
The shipping receipt and tracking information should be retained until the return has been completed.
PRODUCT INSPECTION AND HANDLING
A customer may inspect a product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and basic function.
The customer is responsible for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Returned products may be inspected and, where necessary, tested before the refund is finalized.
DIMINISHED VALUE
Yggdrill may deduct an amount from the refund where a returned product has lost value as a result of handling, use, damage, modification, or missing items.
Examples include:
- operation or use beyond basic inspection;
- visible wear, scratches, dents, or contamination;
- physical or electrical damage;
- missing accessories, cables, manuals, components, or included items;
- removed or damaged serial-number labels, security seals, or tamper indicators;
- damaged or missing product packaging where this materially affects value;
- disassembly, soldering, repair attempts, or component replacement;
- modification of hardware, cooling, firmware, voltage, frequency, or operating settings;
- use with unsuitable or non-compliant power delivery;
- liquid exposure, corrosion, impact, overheating, or burn damage;
- any condition that prevents the product from being sold in the same condition and category in which it was supplied.
The deduction will be based on the difference between the value of the product in the condition originally supplied and its value in the condition returned.
Where relevant, reasonable repair, restoration, testing, or replacement costs may be taken into account. The same loss will not be counted more than once.
If the product has been rendered irreparable, unsafe, commercially unusable, or without meaningful remaining value, the deduction may equal the full product price.
Material deductions will be documented and communicated to the customer.
ASIC MINERS AND MINING EQUIPMENT
ASIC miners and similar mining products may lose value once they have been operated, configured, or used for mining.
To preserve eligibility for a full product refund, the miner should be returned without mining use, modification, damage, or missing components.
The following may result in diminished value:
- connecting the miner to a mining pool;
- performing mining operations;
- extended powered operation;
- accumulated operating or hashing hours beyond basic testing;
- overclocking;
- changing voltage, frequency, power, or thermal settings;
- installing unsupported or modified firmware;
- disassembly, tampering, soldering, or board-level work;
- replacing or modifying fans, heatsinks, cooling systems, or power components;
- operation outside the manufacturer’s stated specifications;
- use with unsuitable power supplies, wiring, or connectors.
Where a returned miner can no longer be sold as new, the customer may be responsible for the difference between its original value and its remaining value as used, repaired, damaged, or parts-only equipment.
Each returned miner will be assessed according to its actual condition, operating history, and remaining value.
CRYPTO HARDWARE WALLETS AND SECURITY-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS
Crypto hardware wallets are security-sensitive products. Factory sealing and an uncompromised chain of custody form part of the product’s value.
Customers who may wish to return a hardware wallet should inspect the external packaging without breaking the factory security seal.
Breaking or removing the factory security seal may reduce the value of the product because Yggdrill may no longer be able to sell or represent it as factory-sealed and uncompromised.
The following may result in substantial or complete diminished value:
- breaking or removing the factory security seal;
- activating, initializing, or configuring the wallet;
- generating or importing a seed phrase;
- creating a wallet;
- setting access credentials;
- pairing the wallet with an application or account;
- signing a transaction;
- installing or changing firmware;
- any handling that prevents the product’s security integrity from being verified for another customer.
An activated, initialized, or otherwise security-compromised wallet may have no safe resale value. Where supported by the condition of the returned product and its actual remaining value, the deduction may equal the full product price.
Products reported as defective or compromised on delivery will be handled under the defect claim process.
PACKAGING AND INCLUDED ITEMS
All supplied products, components, accessories, cables, manuals, certificates, cards, and other included items should be returned.
Original packaging should be included where it:
- forms part of the product;
- provides necessary protection;
- contains identifying information; or
- materially affects resale value.
Any loss in value caused by missing or damaged packaging may be deducted from the refund.
REFUNDS
Returned products received by Yggdrill will be inspected and, where necessary, tested to confirm their condition, contents, and any loss in value before the final refund amount is determined.
The refund amount will include the price paid for the returned products. Where the customer withdraws from the entire order, the refund will also include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for that order.
The following may be deducted from the refund:
- the cost of return shipping where this is the customer’s responsibility;
- any diminished value resulting from handling, use, damage, modification, missing items, or incomplete packaging; and
- any additional amount paid for express, premium, or upgraded outbound delivery above the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option.
If only part of an order is returned, the original outbound delivery cost will not normally be refunded where that cost would have been the same for the products retained.
Refunds will be processed without undue delay within the applicable legal timeframe.
Customers must retain sufficient evidence showing that the relevant product and included items were returned. A shipping receipt or tracking number that does not sufficiently establish the contents of the return may require additional supporting information.
The refund will normally be issued through the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed with the customer.
CRYPTOCURRENCY PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Where an order is paid using Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency, the purchase price remains denominated in the currency displayed for the order at checkout, such as SEK or EUR. The cryptocurrency amount transferred represents the equivalent value of that purchase price at the applicable exchange rate when the payment is made and does not change the currency in which the purchase price is denominated.
Any refund relating to a cryptocurrency payment will therefore be calculated from the refundable amount in the original order currency, after any deductions permitted under this policy or applicable law.
Where the refund is made in the same cryptocurrency used for the original payment, the refundable amount in the order currency will be converted into that cryptocurrency using the applicable exchange rate when the refund is processed. The quantity of cryptocurrency refunded may therefore be higher or lower than the quantity originally transferred due to changes in the cryptocurrency exchange rate.
The original quantity of cryptocurrency transferred does not, by itself, determine the quantity to be returned. Cryptocurrency price increases or decreases occurring after the original transaction do not change the amount of the refund expressed in the original order currency, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Where Yggdrill processes the refund through a cryptocurrency payment provider, the exchange rate and conversion mechanism applied by that provider at the time the refund is processed may be used to determine the cryptocurrency amount, subject to applicable law.
Yggdrill will bear any network or transaction fee required to send a statutory refund so that the customer does not incur an additional fee as a result of the reimbursement.
A refund may instead be made using another cryptocurrency, stablecoin such as USDC, bank transfer, or another payment method where the customer expressly agrees to the alternative refund method.
Payment providers, cryptocurrency networks, and banks may require additional processing or confirmation time after Yggdrill issues the refund.
INCORRECT, DAMAGED, OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Customers should contact Yggdrill as soon as possible if:
- the wrong product was supplied;
- the product arrived damaged;
- products, parts, or accessories were missing;
- the product does not conform to the order;
- the customer believes the product has a manufacturing or original defect.
Consumers may submit a complaint concerning an original defect for up to three years from delivery.
The customer should provide the order number and, where reasonably available:
- photographs;
- videos;
- device logs;
- error messages; and
- a description of the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
DAMAGE CAUSED AFTER DELIVERY
Damage or malfunction caused after delivery is not considered an original defect.
This may include damage caused by:
- impact, dropping, crushing, or improper transport;
- liquid exposure, contamination, or corrosion;
- misuse or operation contrary to instructions;
- unsuitable power delivery, cabling, or electrical supply;
- overclocking or operation outside specified limits;
- unauthorized disassembly, soldering, or repair;
- unsupported firmware or configuration;
- modified cooling or removed safety components;
- ordinary wear and tear.
A defect claim may be rejected where the available evidence shows that the customer’s actions caused or contributed to the reported issue.
RETURN INSPECTION AND DOCUMENTATION
Returned products may be photographed, recorded, inspected, and tested.
Yggdrill may document:
- parcel and packaging condition;
- serial numbers, MAC addresses, device identifiers, and identifying labels;
- physical condition;
- missing items;
- firmware and configuration;
- error records and device logs;
- operating hours or usage indicators;
- voltage, frequency, thermal, or overclock settings;
- evidence of impact, corrosion, overheating, liquid exposure, or tampering.
This information may be used to determine the condition of the product, the cause of damage, its remaining value, and the appropriate return outcome.
Testing will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
FRAUDULENT OR SUBSTITUTED RETURNS
Returned products must be the same products supplied under the relevant order and must include the applicable accessories, components, and identifying features.
Yggdrill may verify serial numbers, MAC addresses, device identifiers, hardware revisions, identifying labels, components, firmware, configuration, and other identifying characteristics.
If a return contains a different, substituted, counterfeit, incomplete, or otherwise unrelated product, the product supplied under the order will be treated as not returned and no refund will be processed.
Suspected deliberate substitution, falsified return evidence, empty or manipulated parcels, chargeback abuse, or other fraudulent activity may be reported to the relevant payment provider, carrier, insurer, or law enforcement authority.
Items received in connection with a disputed or suspected fraudulent return may be retained securely while the matter is investigated.
PRODUCTS EXCLUDED FROM THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products covered by a specific legal exception.
Examples may include:
- products manufactured according to the customer’s individual instructions;
- products given a clearly personalized character;
- sealed goods that cannot suitably be returned for health or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken;
- sealed computer software where the seal has been broken;
- digital content supplied without a physical medium after delivery has begun with the customer’s express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal will be lost.
Where an exception applies to a particular product, this will be stated before purchase.
BUSINESS PURCHASES
The consumer right of withdrawal does not apply where a purchase is made wholly or mainly for business purposes.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, business purchases are final once accepted and shipped.
Returns by business customers require prior written approval from Yggdrill and may be subject to:
- return shipping costs;
- inspection and testing costs;
- diminished-value deductions;
- administration charges; and
- restocking charges.
Yggdrill may assess whether a purchase was genuinely made for business purposes based on the purchaser, invoice details, organisation number, VAT number, intended use, and surrounding circumstances.
VOLUNTARY RETURNS
Where no right of withdrawal applies, or where the withdrawal period has expired, Yggdrill may choose to accept a return voluntarily.
Any voluntary return is subject to the conditions agreed for that specific return and may include:
- return shipping;
- testing;
- administration;
- restocking;
- diminished-value charges.
Acceptance of one voluntary return does not create an obligation to accept future returns.
REFUSED AND UNCOLLECTED DELIVERIES
Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not by itself constitute a withdrawal notice.
Customers who wish to withdraw from a purchase must start a return through the relevant order page or email returns@yggdrill.com.
Where a parcel is returned because it was:
- uncollected;
- refused;
- incorrectly addressed by the customer; or
- otherwise undeliverable for reasons attributable to the customer,
Yggdrill may deduct the direct return cost and other resulting recoverable costs from the refund.
